The Net2 485 TCP/IP Ethernet interface allows communication between the Net2 server PC and control units across a TCP/IP Ethernet network. Where a PC network already exists this can be a very convenient solution. A single Net2 system can comprise of up to 50 datalines each connecting to the PC network using a 485 TCP/IP interface (v4.07 and above).
