Product Uses Fernox Quantomat Scale Reducers are designed to treat water with an accurate amount of Quantophos H to prevent the build-up of limescale. A Quantomat Scale Reducer benefits a whole range of appliances including: electric showers, combination boilers, dishwashers, water heaters, washing machines, immersion heaters and cylinders.

Application and Dosage In domestic and commercial usage the unit should normally be refilled every 6-12 months when protecting individual appliances, and every 6-10 weeks when treating the whole water system.
Packaging, Handling and Storage The Quantomat can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipework, but the bowl/head assembly should always point downwards. The Quantomat Scale Reducer is supplied with two fills of Quantophos H powder. Refills of Quantophos H powder are available in single fill sachets. Quantophos H is classified as non-hazardous and is listed as suitable for adding to drinking water.
