Product Uses Water Hawk is a jointing compound designed especially for use with hot and cold potable water. It is a WRAS - Approved Product. Water Hawk is manufactured from a unique silicone compound to ensure it does not support microbiological growth. Water Hawk complies with BS EN751-2 Class A.
Application and Dosage Water Hawk is used on all jointing applications, but is uniquely designed for use with potable water. If a reinforcing material is needed, Hawk Special Fibre is a hemp substitute and is also a WRAS - Approved Product for use with hot and cold potable water. Hawk Special Fibre can be used on pipework over 25 mm with Water Hawk.
Packaging, Handling and Storage Water Hawk is supplied in 400 gm tins and 200 gm tubs. Water Hawk is classified as non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
