Used as a guide rail they can be clamped across boards to provide a firm straight edge to guide a jigsaw, routers or circular saws. Used as a clamp they can be used to give light pressure when gluing up multi panel boards. The clamps can be bolted back to back so that the workpiece can be secured to the workbench leaving both hands free to work with the tools.
